At 10:07pm this evening, our monitoring detected the loss of our Metro Ethernet Ring links from one our suppliers.
Our ring automatically reconverged as designed.
At 10:13pm this evening, we saw these links reconnect.
No planned maintenance is known, so we have raised a query with the supplier and requested a RFO.
No outages were observed as our rings re-routed via their alternate paths.
Our supplier advised us that they are carrying out routing maintenance this evening.
We should have been notified on the 22nd March and again today, but did not receive these notices.
They will investigate next week why we were not notified of the maintenance.
