As a follow-on to our UPS Service recently, Riello recommended a full overhaul of our BOL8 UPS system as it has reached its recommended lifespan.
Although no parts were identified as failing, we have taken their recommendations and will be having the BOL8 UPS system completely overhauled on Wednesday 23rd August 2017 between 9am-6pm.
During this period, we will operate from locally generated power while the UPS system is bypassed for servicing.
We don’t anticipate any issues arising from this maintenance and this will refresh our UPS system for the next 7 years.
Note: the batteries will not be replaced during this servicing as they were replaced during 2016. The batteries are next due to be replaced in 3-4 years time.
Today’s maintenance went ahead with no complications.
The BOL8 UPS system has been completely overhauled and should last for another 7 years.
The next service is due around September 2018.
