Today, Equinix have announced that visits to their datacentres will now be by appointment only due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
We don’t anticipate this to cause any issues for Netnorth as we only use Equinix as network access points, and these are resilient for us.
The majority of Netnorth’s infrastructure is operated from Netnorth operated datacentres which are fully under our control.
Our Equinix presence in MA1 (ex-Telecity Williams House), and MA2 (ex-IFL Reynolds House) are only used to pickup connectivity to other suppliers.
We also have a presence in Iomart LDeX-2 Manchester where we house customers requiring a Manchester-based service. There are no current restrictions at this datacentre beyond a request to keep visits to urgent only.
