At approx 4:55pm UK local time, we experienced a loss of our LINX (London) connectivity.
This is provided by a “Connexions” partner, and we suspect an issues lies somewhere within their network.
A brief period of instability would have occurred whilst BGP reconverged automatically to our failover paths.
No further disruptions are expected as our alternate paths are now carrying the traffic.
No ETA is known at this time – but services are currently operating normally.
Our connexions partner have identified a failed linecard as the cause of this issue.
Our connexions partner reported that a card reset resolved the issue. After a period of stability, we have re-enabled the LINX London peering connection.
