We experienced a power outage of phase L3 on the commercial mains input at our BOL2 site at approx. 5:45pm this afternoon.
The automated failover procedure occurred as expected and the site transferred over to locally generated power. The entire site became powered by generator for the duration of the phase outage.
We will continue to operate under generator power until all phases are within specification.
After discussions with ENWL, an underground power cable fault was diagnosed and electricity engineers were dispatched to resolve the issue.
We saw a brief return of power at 7:41pm, however supply was unstable and our failover systems kept the site on locally generated power.
Power was restored to the site at approx. 8:44pm and appeared stable.
After several minutes of stable commercial mains power availability, our automated failover systems transferred the site back to commercial power.
Generated power remained available for several minutes in case of another outage, and then shutdown once input power was confirmed stable.
No services were affected by this power outage.
